The Quartet in companies
We made this choice more than 15 years ago, developing this activity as part of our « regular » career, and it still arouses our keenest interest. Our seminars keep changing according to our own progress and new centres of interest. Little by little they change in form and can fit more properly to specific requirements. But most of all, these performances are an image, a faithful reflection of what we are today.
Despite the type of seminar you probably already know, we can now offer an entire day of training combining music, communication based on sensitivity and learning, song creation and concert. We can also include our intervention within the framework of a festive occasion, convention or congress…
This new concept should appeal to those who like doing things differently, or those who are convinced that metaphor is a powerful way of teaching!
The Quartet is recording
Yes, everything comes to an end eventually, and we are running out of our first « Pathways of Music ». A second version will soon be released! A recording session is to be held mid-April in our region and will be carried out by Dimitri Scapolan, one of our former chamber music students, who now works as a sound engineer at Radio France.
The Quartet is teaching
The next chamber music course will be held on February 5th and 6th, 2011 in Cusy. Other courses are planned to be held in May and October (dates to be scheduled).
The Quartet in residence
Once again the Anber Foundation trusted our Quartet to carry out two musical projects in schools. We will first stage a musical theatre play together with students and teachers of the La Salle School in Pringy. We have also been asked to train private-school teachers in order to give them basic and easy-to-use pedagogic tools to arouse interest and curiosity of pupils for music.
